Resident Evil DLSS&DLAA/FSR2/XeSS vs built in AA solution
All Resident Evil with this mod suffers some mipmap issues if you're using DLSS/FSR2 from Quality to Ultra Performance except for DLAA and XeSS because DLAA is already at native resolution and XeSS seems to work correctly without doing anything. There's a way to make it look correct with nvidiaProfileInspector.

While things could be a bit better (it is a mod forcing a non-VR game to do VR), it's everything I wanted in a Resident Evil VR experience. Especially since I do not have PSVR or a Quest for the "legit" Resident Evil VR games. Hats off to the dude(s) that put this together.

I played both paths to completion on this VR mod. It is totally do-able; other than slight shimmering on some lines and the cutscenes having crazy angles throwing your camera everywhere, this game plays like it was designed for VR.

Thanks to the great modder EXXXcellent for unlocking more graphics option and Praydog for providing us REFramework and integrate the mod into it. RE 2/3/7/8 support RTGI/AO/Reflection while RE4 only support RT reflection. This mod pretty much unlock pathtracing which definitely elevate the graphics to the next level or make the game look off.

Jun 12, 2022 · Try using openxr rather than the oculus runtime. I think you enable it in the oculus desktop software under the beta section in settings. Then delete the openvr file in the games directory with the mod files so only the openxr file is there. For me I think steamvr also has be running first and then open the game or your hand tracking will be off.
