Jan 8, 2022 · This is from Resident Evil: Afterlife. As far as I can tell, the real dogs are used in some shots. Mainly shots where the dog is facing away from the camera. The problem is that they needed the dogs to be Cerberus, and you can't make a dog's body split open. So CG dogs were used for any shot where the dog was mutated, which was much of the scene.

Dec 23, 2022 · I dunno. I had og Resident Evil at launch on PS1. I'm not a fan of the newer series with the over the shoulder view but the og series will always be near and dear. I had a giant smile on my face throughout the entire movie and I couldn't help it. I loved every little nod to the series even if it was over done.

Sep 10, 2010 · I thought the movie was a fun movie to watch if I was baked. Since I was not, I hated it. I truly thought the movie was made by Uwe Boll. If you watched any of his movies then you have watched Resident Evil. I'm amazed this movie made it to the big picutures.

Oct 20, 2021 · Did you people know that in 2010 a Resident Evil afterlife game called "REAfterlife" was in development? I remember that I downloaded it from the Apple App Store (I think on my iPod touch back then). The game was far from ready for the App Store and almost not playable.

Mar 26, 2020 · Apocalypse-6/10 Not as good as first but feels most like the Resident Evil games. Extinction-6/10 Tiny bit better than Apocalypse but less of a Resident Evil feel. Afterlife-4/10 Just looks like a downgrade visually, seems more CGI than practical effects. Retribution-4/10 Just another poor effort with a shit story.

Jul 19, 2023 · *TL;DR: There's a blink and you'll miss it shot of a parachute floating in the distance, meaning Wesker didn't die in Afterlife, as many people believe, and him being alive in Retribution wasn't a mistake on the director's part. He actually showed us he survived in Afterlife, meaning Wesker had plot armor the entire time.
