Starting May 7, 2025, travelers need a Real I.D. to fly within the United States and enter certain federal facilities. State transportation officials said of the one-million residents in Hawaii, only 60-thousand people still do not have a Real I.

Passengers who do not have a TSA-acceptable form of identification can experience delays, additional screening, and possibly be denied entry.
