Shohei Ohtani hit a solo homer in his return to the Tokyo Dome, Roki Sasaki threw three eventful innings in his big-league debut and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 6-3 to sweep the two-game series in Japan.

MLB season began with a two-game series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs in Tokyo, Japan. Both teams have big Japanese players, including Shohei Ohtani and Roki Sasaki. The series ended in a two-game sweep for the Dodgers.

If MLB can get Japan to follow all its teams, “We do believe there are payoffs in the B’s: billions,” commissioner Rob Manfred said.
