Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch had a talk with the team at halftime that motivated the team to go up 3-1 over the Golden State Warriors.

After going into halftime up two points, the Warriors saw their lead evaporate as the Wolves embarked on a 21-2 run starting with two Rudy Gobert free throws. The Warriors left the third quarter trailing by 20 after a 12-minute stretch filled with fruitless Golden State drives, turnovers and a parade of made Timberwolves jumpers.

Julius Randle made sure the Minnesota Timberwolves kept their heads above water. Anthony Edwards made sure they'd pull away.

The victory completed a 4-1 series triumph for the Timberwolves, who return to the Western Conference finals for the second straight season.
