Nvidia falls after the company provides few updates about its artificial-intelligence chips at the CES trade show, while shares of Micron and Aurora Innovation jump after securing partnerships with the semiconductor giant.

In a statement released late on Monday night, Aurora announced a "long-term strategic partnership" with Nvidia and German auto industry supplier Continental under which Nvidia computing hardware will be a key component of the self-driving truck system that Aurora and Continental plan to build at scale starting in 2027.

Shares of Aurora Innovation (AUR) are up more than 35% as investors cheer the company's announcement of a partnership with Continental and Nvidia (NVDA). The three companies will collaborate to help deploy driverless trucks.
