BYU graduate and Miss District of Columbia Katie Ann Powell won the “Most Inspirational” award at the 2025 Miss America pageant on Jan. 5.

Miss South Carolina may not have been crowned Miss America 2025, but she did make it into the top 11 out of the pageant's 51 contestants. She also won the Health & Fitness Preliminary Award.
