Following its winter break, Tampa Bay’s professional women’s soccer team resumes play Saturday against Fort Lauderdale.

Nearly 7 years after his only NHL game, the 28-year-old has overcome injuries, time away from pro hockey and doubters.

During the game on February 4, Irene Weiss and Margot Benstock were both named Lightning Community Heroes. Both women are daughters of Holocaust survivors.
