Late March is an exciting time in the garden. While our plants are slow to wake up, the anticipation of what's to come is enough to get me excited about early spring.

It is the time of bountiful harvests from the vegetable garden and time, as well, for a few chores that will help extend the season. For example, it's time to plant a fall crop of peas and spinach!
