The original series of Dexter may have come to an end in 2013, but the franchise is still going strong. There was the 2021 sequel, New Blood, and there's even another sequel, Resurrection, on the horizon.

Dexter: Resurrection, a continuation of the original series with Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, and Peter Dinklage is expected to begin airing this summer. I expect better things, although those expectations are not particularly high.

Dexter: Original Sin is a mystery crime drama series which is created by Clyde Phillips. It stars Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan in the lead role. The series is an adaptation of Jeff Lindsay's novel of the same name. It is a sequel to Dexter: New Blood and the series is streaming on OTT.

Original Sin ended on a high note over the weekend, measuring a finale audience that grew 27% over the December premiere. The finale tallied 2.68M global viewers on Paramount+ with Showtime, according to Paramount Global.
