Lady Gaga premiered her new single and video, 'Abracadabra,' during a Grammys commercial break, on top of her live duo performance with Bruno Mars at the ceremony.
"The category is dance... or die," Gaga announced sinisterly. “Abracadabra” is a fast-tempo dance track, reminiscent of Gaga’s innovative dark pop hits from the aughts and early 2010s.
Though the “Abracadabra” chorus may sound like the infectious gibberish that Gaga first made a trademark in her 2009 hit “Bad Romance,” there’s actually a deeper meaning to the sounds.
