The United States and Pakistan hailed a trade deal on Thursday that Islamabad said would lead to lower tariffs and increased investment, but without specifying the level of tariff to be levied on Pakistani exports.

Trump announced on Thursday that the US will work with Pakistan to develop its “massive” oil reserves. He even suggested Pakistan may “maybe” sell oil to India in the future.

Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch has warned US President Donald Trump against being “gravely misled” about the ownership and location of “massive oil reserves” in Pakistan. He alleged that General Asim Munir and Pakistan’s diplomatic channels had fed incorrect information to Washington regarding the actual geography of these natural resources.
