LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Former Nebraska football center Cam Jurgens is trying to trademark the term “Jurgy.” His beef jerky business, Pickrell-based Beef Jurgy LLC, applied for the trademark on Tuesday. Jurgens, now with the Super Bowl-bound Philadelphia Eagles, founded the company when he was a Husker as a name, image and likeness venture.

Cam Jurgens was listed as a full participant for Super Bowl LIX before the Eagles left for New Orleans to face the Chiefs. However, on Super Bowl opening night, the Pro Bowl center said he was good to go for Sunday night.
