Pierce went on to speak of the future of the Raiders in such a way that suggested he would continue to be head coach. Making plans for the team’s future and speaking of his and GM Tom Telesco’s decisions this offseason. It’s no guarantee that he will remain head coach, but he sure sounds like he expects to keep his job.

Antonio Pierce officially finished his first year as the Las Vegas Raiders' head coach, and it sounds like he has a good chance of remaining in this position, at least from what he's heard. There's been speculation the Raiders could fire Pierce after the team went 4–13 this season, but the coach is calling this purely outside rumors.

Pierce held his final meeting with the team Monday and spoke as if he's returning, though owner Mark Davis has yet to clarify.
