Pat Narduzzi clearly didn’t go to the Herm Edwards School of Coaching. Social media and college football fans ripped the Pittsburgh coach for opting for a conservative strategy that ultimately backfired in Pittsburgh’s 48-46 loss in six overtimes to Toledo on Thursday in the GameAbove Sports Bowl.

The Pittsburgh Panthers had one of the most interesting years of any college football team this season. After starting on an impressive 7-0 run, they went on a six-game losing streak that was capped off with a six-overtime, 48-46 loss to the Toledo Rockets in the GameAbove Sports Bowl on Thursday.

At the beginning of November, the Pittsburgh Panthers were 7-0 and dreaming of finishing the season in the College Football Playoff.

The Pittsburgh Panthers, plagued by injuries late in the season, will face the Toledo Rockets in the GameAbove Sports Bowl.
