UNT became the latest college football program to announce that its spring schedule will not include a traditional spring game.

One of the traditions in college football appears as if it’s exiting stage left, and North Texas is joining the trend.

Texas will join a growing list of college football programs doing away with traditional spring games in favor of a slightly restructured practice slate, coach Steve Sarkisian said during a recent appearance on the "Up & Adams Show.
