After being converted in the 1970s to a pedestrian mall, Fayetteville St. was restored in 2006 to a drivable main street and the Raleigh Christmas Parade returned to Fayetteville Street.
A second Raleigh location of the sandwich shop Primo Hoagies will soon open at 121 Fayetteville St., Suite 112. Bill Church Downtown Raleigh will add a popular new sandwich shop next week.
