The Publix at Promenade Plaza in Palm Beach Gardens was torn down and rebuilt with a modern look, wider aisles and a larger selection of products.

The property, which was put up for auction back in February with a starting bid of $6 million, was sold for over three times that amount, totaling $22.3 million, according to court records.

All of the mall’s indoor retailers and restaurants — roughly 30 — will be open during the construction with parking available at each entrance, the developer said.
