The announcement was made live on Radio 1 this morning, with music fans excited to find out the first five artists on the line-up.

BBC Radio 1 has revealed the first artists confirmed for its Big Weekend 2025 line-up. BRITs Rising Star winner Myles Smith, reigning UK Number 1 star Lola Young, Blossoms, Wet Leg and headliner Sam Fender will play Liverpool's Sefton Park from Friday May 23 to Sunday May 25 2025, with more artists still to be announced.
