Kyogo Furuhashi is enduring a nightmare start to life at Rennes after joining the club from Celtic in the winter window.

However, since departing for Ligue 1, Furuhashi's absence has rarely been felt, with his Japanese international teammate Daizen Maeda - who has mostly been used out wide in his three years at Celtic - stepping up as a pivotal player unleashed through the middle.
