US President Donald Trump says he has moved two “Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions” in response to threats from former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, a close ally of the dictator Vladimir Putin.

The Truth Social post about the sub repositioning came after Trump, in the wee hours of Thursday morning, posted that the former Russian president needed to “watch his words.”

Russia’s far east nuclear submarine base appears to have been damaged by the tsunami that swept the country’s Pacific coast on Wednesday, according to satellite imagery obtained by The Telegraph.
