Ryan Lindgren might come from a family of goalies, but the newest addition to the Seattle Kraken blue line knew from an early age he didn’t have much of a future in net. His older brother, Charlie, is a goalie with the Washington Capitals.

After a turbulent 2024-25 season that saw him change teams for the first time in his seven-year career, new Kraken defenseman Ryan Lindgren is eager for a new opportunity in Seattle.

The 27-year-old blueliner has appeared in 405 career regular-season games with the Colorado Avalanche and New York Rangers
