Singer Sean Kingston has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after being convicted of a $1 million fraud scheme in South Florida

Kingston, 35, and his mother, Janice Turner, were found guilty in May of defrauding luxury businesses of more than $1 million.

The rapper, whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson, and his mother were both convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud in March, according to the AP. Turner was sentenced to five years in prison in July.
