Lawyers for convicted former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters on Tuesday tried to get a federal court in Denver to let her out on bond as they appeal her case in the Colorado State Court of Appeals.

Several youth in the community show livestock during the fair each year. Aging from six to 18, they can show a variety of animals, including but not limited to rabbits, goats, sheep, and cattle. They get their animal months in advance and work with them daily to prepare for the show.
