At least 10 people were hospitalized in Nevada and California after eating Fresh & Ready Foods products, which have been recalled due to a suspected listeria outbreak.

To alert customers, Spar is displaying point of sale notices in stores that sell the impacted products which explain why the recall was announced. “Spar Enjoy Local Fillets have tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes,” the retailer said.

U.S. health officials say a listeria outbreak linked to ready-to-eat sandwiches and snacks has sickened at least 10 people.
