Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio has called on India’s telecom regulator, TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to reassess the potential impact of Elon Musk’s Starlink and Amazon’s Kuiper before allocating satellite spectrum.

The advantage of satellite-based internet is that no wired towers are required to access high-speed internet. The major benefit of this service is that people in remote areas who lack internet access can also get connected.
