TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— Overcoming early struggles from point guard Mark Sears and a double-digit turnover number in the game’s first 20 minutes, the Alabama basketball team triumphed over visiting Georgia 90-69 on Saturday afternoon.

Mark Sears had a game-high 20 points as the fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide closed the first half strong and then ran away from the Georgia Bulldogs in the second half of a 90-69 blowout victory Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa.
