After reports surfaced that the Steelers approached the Jaguars in an attempt to trade for Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville is telling all interested teams to go fish. Pittsburgh went into last season with Justin Fields and Russell Wilson at quarterback, but neither are under contract for 2025.

These reports came from the Big Ten networks Ryan Burr, who said it came directly from the horses mouth, meaning the Jaguars themselves. Just two hours later, however, ESPN's Michael DiRocco reported that his Jaguars source said there's 'no chance' Trevor Lawrence is traded. From the outside looking in, DiRocco's report feels much more believable.
