The visit comes six years after the fatal crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, which involved a Boeing 737 Max jet.

Duffy's visit comes as Boeing faces renewed safety concerns following a recent in-flight panel detachment and the 737 Max crash anniversary

During their visit, Duffy and Rocheleau plan to meet with Boeing ( BA) Chief Executive Kelly Ortberg, who is scheduled to testify before the Senate Commerce Committee on April 2 about the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance safety and quality standards. They will also tour the 737 production facility and speak with FAA inspectors.
