Original Sin ended on a high note over the weekend, measuring a finale audience that grew 27% over the December premiere. The finale tallied 2.68M global viewers on Paramount+ with Showtime, according to Paramount Global.

Original Sin ends with Deb (Molly Brown) deciding to forego a college volleyball scholarship to follow in her father and brother’s footsteps at Miami Metro, setting up the intricate web of lies Dexter must weave to keep his cop sister off his blood-soaked trail.

The original series of Dexter may have come to an end in 2013, but the franchise is still going strong. There was the 2021 sequel, New Blood, and there's even another sequel, Resurrection, on the horizon.

Dexter: Resurrection, a continuation of the original series with Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, and Peter Dinklage is expected to begin airing this summer. I expect better things, although those expectations are not particularly high.
