The chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisers said that some countries that are negotiating with the U.S. could see tariffs delayed.

After striking only a few trade deals since declaring a 90-day pause in April, President Trump said he would announce new duties starting Friday.

The Republican leader did not elaborate on which countries would be charged how much tariffs, or if the tariffs would be charged at higher rates on certain goods.
