Police say a shooting near a mosque in central Sweden has left one person dead and another injured. Police believe the incident is linked to gang violence.

By Anna Ringstrom and Essi Lehto STOCKHOLM (Reuters) -Two people were injured on Friday in a shooting near a mosque in the Swedish city of Orebro, in what was likely a case of gang-related crime, police said.

The shooting took place in the parking lot outside the mosque in the central city of Örebro in the early afternoon following Friday prayers, police said. The victim was a 25-year-old man who was shot dead leaving the mosque, and the man injured was also in his 20s.
