At least two people died, multiple people were injured, and a child was unaccounted for in a fire at a home in San Leandro early Thursday morning, authorities said.

SAN LEANDRO — A massive fire at a house in an unincorporated part of the city sent several people to a hospital and brought initial reports from authorities they later rescinded that a child had died.
