At least 20 girls are missing from an all-girls Christian summer camp in South Texas after catastrophic floods struck the area in the wake of severe overnight storms.

At least 24 people are dead following flooding that slammed Texas Hill Country overnight on Friday, according to officials. At least 20 girls from a summer camp remain missing.

In central Kerr County, up to 10 inches of rain inundated the area, causing the Guadalupe River to swell and overflow its banks.
