A lottery player in Kentucky just made history! The largest Powerball win in the state — $167.3 million — came on April 28, beating out the previous record of $128.6 million from 2009.

Linda Grizzle is splitting a $167.3 million winnings with her son, Shannon Farthing, both of Georgetown. Farthing bought a $2 Powerball ticket for last Saturday night’s drawing. Mother and son came to the Kentucky Lottery on Monday to present the winning ticket purchased at Clark’s Pump N Shop at 480 Connector Road.
