Planned Parenthood sued the administration Monday, alleging that a provision of Trump's "big, beautiful bill" is unconstitutional and will cause irreparable harm.

The restraining order prevents the Trump administration from enacting a provision of the massive tax and policy law that would cut Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood.

In a statement, a White House official did not get into specific legal arguments but stated that the provision to defund organizations that perform abortion is in line with public opinion.
