Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier's climbing partner has spoken of the heartbreaking moment she was forced to leave the biathlon star’s body behind on a Pakistani mountain.

Laura Dahlmeier, a two-time German biathlon Olympic gold medalist, has died after a climbing accident in Pakistan, her management team and local government officials confirmed.
