Tuesday started out with Oregon landing a transfer commitment from Florida State wide receiver Malik Benson, the former No. 1 JUCO player in the nation. NEW ORLEANS – Tulane quarterback Ty Thompson withdrew his name from the transfer portal on Tuesday. Thompson has one year of eligibility remaining. He originally entered the portal December 11th, and still started for the Green Wave in the team’s 33-8 loss to Florida in the Gasparilla Bowl.
