The last time the Bears played on a Saturday was on Dec. 24, 2022, in a 35-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills. This will also be the first Bears-Packers game in a primetime setting in two years. The last time was when the Bears and Packers' Week 18 game in 2023 was FOX's "America's Game of the Week" as both teams were eying playoff berths.

There's now a lot of hope surrounding the team and on Monday, the NFL announced that the Bears would be taking on the Green Bay Packers for a Week 16 matchup on Dec. 20. Of course, the two teams are a part of the biggest rivalry in NFL history, and the Bears quickly reacted to the news, saying "Week 16 at our place," via a social media post.

The NFL showcases marquee matchups on Sunday night, Monday night, Thursday night, and sometimes Saturday night throughout the year. Once again, the Bears should be a popular team this fall, given the buzz surrounding the new coaching staff and the allure of quarterback Caleb Williams.
