Guardians third baseman José Ramírez and relief pitcher Emmanuel Clase earned All-MLB First Team honors Thursday, becoming the first Cleveland teammates named the top players at their positions since the award was established in 2019.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (WKBN) – Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez and closer Emmanuel Clase were named to the All-MLB First Team on Thursday night at the 2024 All-MLB Awards show in Las Vegas.

Emmanuel Clase, for the second time in four years, has received the Mariano Rivera award, representing the top reliever in the American League. Clase, the Guardians all-time saves leader, received the award Thursday night at All-MLB Team Show in Las Vegas.

Cleveland Guardians star closer Emmanuel Clase had a marvelous season. That isn’t a secret for anybody who followed MLB this year: the guy posted an absurd 0.61 ERA and became the Guardians all-time leader in saves.
