A hidden gem, someone recommended visiting the Mint in Philadelphia and it’s well worth going. Takes about an hour and whilst you can’t actually see the coins being made you can see the machinery and… Full review by lucyjv2018

A class came in carrying luggage and backpacks with them while I was there a few weeks ago. They allowed them to take it in but it was all searched very thoroughly.

Hi, Sorry, I do not know for certain. However, people had mobiles and those were not stopped so if it is in the bottom of your backpack then I suspect it will be OK. I think it is …

Hi, Sorry, I do not know for certain. However, people had mobiles and those were not stopped so if it is in the bottom of your backpack then I suspect it will be OK. I think it is down to trust and their staff being vigilant to stop anybody they see trying to take a photo. Good luck

They just make coins. There is a place in DC that prints outs the paper money.

As I recall - NO photos are allowed at all!
